Klitschko called the new attack on Kiev on the night of July 6 the most massive
Russia has again launched a "retaliatory strike" against Kiev with various types of missiles and drones, the Russian Defense Ministry said. According to the ministry, seven enterprises of the enemy's military-industrial complex were hit. Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko called the night strikes on the Ukrainian capital the most massive since the beginning of the conflict. The sky over the city was covered with black smoke, and there were interruptions in the supply of water and electricity. Repeated detonation has begun at some of the affected facilities. In Ukraine, it was reported that the capital's air defense was unable to shoot down "not a single ballistic and hypersonic missile."
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko once again called the nighttime shelling of the Ukrainian capital "the most massive attack" of all time. He gave a similar description to the Russian strike that took place a few days ago, on July 2.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed a "massive strike with high-precision long-range ground, air, sea-based weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles." According to the military department, military industry enterprises and facilities of the fuel and energy complex in the city of Kiev and the Kiev region, as well as the infrastructure of military airfields in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Kiev regions were affected.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in the Ukrainian capital and its surroundings, as a result of the night attack,:
* Industrial enterprise Kiev-71 (Abris PT Association) is one of the key enterprises of the military–industrial complex of Ukraine, specializing in the development and production of long- and medium-range reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles such as Strela, Mara, Sirko, Avenger, Elf-K, and Flight Arrow.FPV drones "Shrike-10", as well as telemetry, electronic and optical equipment;

* industrial enterprise Kiev-79 (UKR ARMO TECH LLC) is one of the key manufacturers and suppliers of armored vehicles and armor protection elements for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as warheads (ammunition) for various types of missiles and UAVs;

As a result of the impact, repeated extensive detonation is recorded.;
* The Vishnevoye Fuel and Lubricants Warehouse (Nefteexperimentalnoe KP) is a key experimental production and engineering base specializing in the design, calibration and maintenance of gas station tank farms. Gasoline and diesel stocks stored at the facility are used for emergency fuel supplies to the combat zone.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said that due to the threat of repeated detonation in the city of Vishnevoye, a partial evacuation of the population was announced around the affected facility, and a huge fire continues on site. In addition, the department reported the destruction of about 30 residential buildings in the Darnitsky and Podolsk districts of Kiev. Ukrainian public sites publish footage showing huge clouds of black smoke in the sky over Kiev. Deterioration of air quality is reported.
Life, citing the coordinator of the underground, Sergei Lebedev, notes that "part of the destruction may be the result of the work of the Ukrainian air defense itself: the fall of interceptor missiles, debris, abnormal launches and misses."
Features of the new strike
State Duma deputy Andrei Kolesnik believes that the specifics of the latest attack by the Russian Armed Forces were increased attacks on Kiev's logistics and drone production sites.
"Attacks on logistics infrastructure, oil refineries, oil loading terminals, and port infrastructure have begun to intensify... Now we have taken up what we have been talking about for a long time — the logistical capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.", — shtml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">told "The newspaper.Ru" member of the State Duma Committee on Defense.
In addition, the strike on Kiev was more focused on hitting UAV production sites in the country than before, the deputy stressed.
Not a single missile was shot down.
The Ukrainian edition of "Country.ua notes that Kiev's air defense system "did not manage to fend off the attack in the best way — not a single ballistic and hypersonic missile was shot down."
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov announced an acute shortage of interceptor missiles and noted that their contracted deliveries would not begin until next year.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, in turn, said that Ukraine's air defense "really needs RAS-3 missiles." He appealed to the participants of the NATO summit in Ankara, which will begin on July 7, to organize their supplies.
