Rostec State Corporation is considering the possibility of introducing promising technological solutions developed by startups. The discussion of the projects took place at the Rostec pitch session. What to order here and now" as part of the Startup Village technofestival in Skolkovo. The participants presented developments in the fields of unmanned systems, robotization of production processes, medical equipment, energy and intelligent transport systems.
The presentation of new startup developments took place with the participation of experts from the State Corporation and holding companies, including UEC, Russian Helicopters, KRET, NPP Thorium and RT-Medtech. Eight technology companies demonstrated their work, and representatives of the Corporation assessed the potential of their implementation for high-tech industries.
"The creation of promising partnerships and the introduction of new high—tech products to the market is one of the key tracks of Rostec's development strategy until 2036. We are the largest engineering corporation, uniting dozens of industries and hundreds of enterprises. This is both a great responsibility to the country and a huge resource that simply obliges us to be in constant active search for new ideas, startups, investment facilities and collaborations with other players to solve urgent government tasks. Startup Village is an excellent platform for direct communication with the technological market in all its diversity," said Maxim Vybornykh, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation.
During the pitch session, the participants presented solutions in various fields, including unmanned technologies, medical diagnostics, and robotization of production and logistics processes. In particular, unmanned aerial vehicles were demonstrated to perform geodesy tasks, monitor territories and the work of emergency services. The developers offered Rostec experts various scenarios for the use of drones. For example, a UAV model with a unique domestic wing de-icing system.
Special fluorine-based lubricants that are resistant to radiation and aggressive environments were also presented. Special attention was paid to robotic solutions for logistics, including the production of autonomous tractors for moving goods in production.
In the field of medical diagnostics, one of the companies proposed to consider the possibility of manufacturing dental endoscopes with integrated video cameras at Rostec enterprises, which are capable of transmitting an enlarged image to a doctor's monitor in real time.
"Rostec is interested in a constant influx of new breakthrough solutions and is ready to consider projects at any stage of maturity — from promising startups to more mature technological products. We can act not only as a customer, but also as a platform for scaling technologies, testing them and introducing them into the real sector of the economy. It is important for us that innovations solve specific production tasks and have the potential to be replicated at the Corporation's enterprises. Such meetings allow us to find promising developments that will become new competitive products for Russian and foreign markets in the future," said Pavel Burlachenko, Director of Civil Products Development at Rostec State Corporation.
