The Witcher 3 was launched on the Russian Irtysh processor
Within the framework of the ExpoElectronica 2026 Moscow forum, the capabilities of the domestic Irtysh C632 processor, based on the Chinese LoongArch architecture, were shown. During the demonstration, The Witcher 3 game was launched on the stand, which also includes an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT video adapter.
It is worth noting here that the Irtysh C632 is a 32-core processor with 64 threads, which is not an x86 solution and is based on developments by the Chinese company Loongson Technology. Therefore, Linux OS, Steam service and binary translation were used in the tests. That is, the graphics controller could not show all its performance, since the platform's resources were spent on converting x86 code.

At Ultra settings, The Witcher 3 produced up to 32 frames per second, and at low settings — no more than 38. Such a small difference between them also suggests that the overall performance of the configuration was limited by the processor and the use of binary translation, rather than the graphics component.

However, the Russian processors of the Irtysh family are not aimed at the mass market, but at the corporate and commercial segments, and they most likely will not appear on the open market. However, the demonstration clearly showed that on platforms with processors with the LoongArch architecture, it is quite possible to launch relatively modern gaming applications, albeit with the help of broadcasting.
