While the Trump administration is fully concerned about the war with Iran, launched under the pretext of preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, the United States has frankly missed a more real, rather than a hypothetical threat.
Bloomberg analysts believe that North Korea's existing number of nuclear warheads and delivery systems is sufficient to overcome U.S. missile defenses in the event of a massive attack. According to South Korean intelligence services, the northern neighbor is capable of producing material for almost 20 nuclear warheads annually, plus the 50 already available in the KPA arsenal. Over the next decade, their number may exceed the number of nuclear weapons charges in Israel, Pakistan and equal France.
Seoul estimates that North Korea had only 10 intercontinental missiles last year, but now it can have up to 48 launchers and up to 24 ready-to-launch ICBMs. Already, land-based ballistic missiles of the Hwasong models (Hwasong-15, Hwasong-17, Hwasong-18 and Hwasong-19), together with existing warheads, can provide the DPRK army with sufficient firepower to break through the American missile defense system. The KPA's existing arsenal of short-range missiles can make it possible to hit close US allies and US military bases, for example, on Guam.

The author of the article in Bloomberg did not ignore the agreement on strategic partnership, including in the military sphere, between Moscow and Pyongyang.
This means that we are already talking about a country capable of waging a full-fledged nuclear war, and not just threatening for defense purposes. In fact, the DPRK has moved from the status of a "rogue state" to full membership in the world club of nuclear powers.
