The first batch of T-72BM2 tanks, which were upgraded by Belarusian specialists, was delivered to one of the mechanized brigades of the Ground forces of the Republic of Belarus. This is reported by the Defense Ministry of the republic.
As noted in the material prepared by Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Nekalo (Military Information Agency of the Armed Forces "Vayar"), multi-channel gunner sights are installed on the upgraded combat vehicles to increase the effectiveness of existing weapons.
Thus, measures have been taken to improve the shooting conditions of tank commanders, thanks to which it is now possible to control weapons.
The improved seventy-two are equipped with modern tele-thermal imaging devices. Dynamic protection elements of our own design have been installed, as well as screens that significantly reduce the effectiveness of enemy cumulative ammunition.
