If earlier Ukrainian companies parasitized Soviet developments, very often simply copying or slightly changing the legacy of the Soviet Union, which they so hated, now the local "developers" are inspired by what was done in the West.
For example, it is reported about the Skif tracked armored personnel carrier, designed with an eye to the American M113.
Like the overseas car, it uses aluminum armor, which, most likely, will be replaced with a traditional armored platform.

It is said that the protection in the frontal part will allegedly provide resistance to 14.5 ×114 mm armor-piercing bullets flying at a speed of 911 meters per second from a distance of 200 meters. And the sides will be protected from 7.62 x51 bullets at a distance of 30 meters at a meeting speed of 930 m/s. The bottom and undercarriage will withstand the detonation of six kilograms of explosives.
It is reported that the combat weight of the "novelty" is 15,000 kg. The power of the diesel engine is 360 horsepower, while options for installing engines from different manufacturers are provided.
Remote-controlled combat modules with 12.7 or 14.5 mm machine guns will be used as weapons.

The probability that such an APC will enter mass production is very low, and even if it is manufactured, it is unlikely that it will be on the territory of Ukraine.
