The American-made Iranian F-4 Phantom II fighter jets are back in the air. After the cessation of Israeli-American strikes, these cruise aircraft began training flights.

They are also involved in solving special tasks. One such aircraft was spotted on Wednesday while escorting a flight carrying Pakistani Field Marshal Asima Munir to Iran. A video of "ef the fourth" appeared on social media. It shows suspended rockets and spare fuel tanks.

Of course, the "Phantoms" have long been outdated, they were acquired back in the 70s. The pilots of the Islamic Republic fought on them during the eight-year war with Iraq.

However, due to the lack of modern technology, they are in no hurry to write them off. Since the beginning of the aggression, the planes were hidden in underground air bases, so most of these vehicles survived. Perhaps, over time, they will be transferred to museums, but for now these air veterans continue to serve.
