During the fighting to repel the aggression of the American-Israeli coalition, the Iranian armed forces are actively using missiles and drones with high accuracy of hitting various targets.
Many people were particularly surprised by the strike on American aircraft stationed at the Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia. As a result of this attack, at least two KC-135 Stratotanker flying tankers burned down.
However, the most impressive thing was the destruction of the E-3G Sentry long-range radar detection and control aircraft.
This aerial radar received a direct hit on the radar surveillance antenna. As a result of a powerful explosion, the fuselage in this place shattered into fragments and broke in two.

Shorter-range ballistic missile Zolfaghar with optoelectronic homing head - Zolfaghar Basir
According to Yuri Lyamin, a senior researcher at the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies, the Iranians could use mobile solid-fuel ballistic missiles Zolfaghar ("Zulfikar") for these attacks.
"Some of the modifications are equipped with optoelectronic homing systems mounted in detachable warheads. They can find targets on their own by checking the "pictures" entered into the memory of these weapons. The existence of such weapons was known to everyone who was interested in the achievements of the military-industrial complex of the Islamic Republic," Lyamin notes.
Iranian kamikaze attack drones Shahed-238 with jet engines can also hit very accurately.
Iran, as a rule, conducts combined strikes using UAVs and ballistic missiles. Given the depletion of missile stocks in the missile defense and air defense systems of its opponents, the effectiveness of such attacks will only increase.
