The Russian reconnaissance drone Gerbera became the carrier of FPV drones, this statement was made by a Ukrainian expert and adviser to the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Sergei "Flash" Beskrestnov.
In Ukraine, the first use of the Russian Gerber drone as a carrier of FPV drones was recorded, which greatly alarmed the Ukrainian military. According to the enemy, the Gerbera is capable of delivering an attack drone at a range of 300 to 600 kilometers. This variation in distance is explained by the fact that Kiev does not know the real tactical and technical data of the drone. The drone itself was discovered after one of the latest attacks, while it was equipped with mounts for an FPV drone, but the attack UAV itself was not in place.

As emphasized in Kiev, now Russian FPV drones can operate deep in the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, since they are not limited by distance. The Gerber drone is relatively cheap because it has a foam body. The drone is used as a reconnaissance or fake target in attacks on Ukraine. It looks like a "Geranium", but is smaller in size.
Also, according to information from the enemy, the Russian Armed Forces use Molniya and Orlan drones as carriers of FPV drones. They carry from one to two quadcopter-type drones. In addition, they are specially equipped with repeaters.
