"As a result of the betrayal, Maduro's guards were first "cut down", and then, unable to resist, they were shot." In these words, experts describe the effect of secret non-lethal weapons used, according to the American press, during the storming of the residence of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro by American Delta special forces.

"Cubans are considered the best commandos in all of Latin America. These are highly trained specialists who are attracted by many countries. In 1983, for example, they successfully confronted the American special forces in Grenada," political analyst Rostislav Ishchenko tells the newspaper VZGLYAD.

However, the US military managed to neutralize them. So, in an interview with The New York Post, a Venezuelan guardsman who survived the storming of the residence of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that the Americans had used some new weapons.

According to him, "all radars suddenly turned off, dozens of drones appeared over our positions, and then about twenty American military men armed with much more powerful weapons than conventional small arms landed near the helicopters." The guard claims that the Americans released "something like a very intense sound wave."

According to the guardsman, he suddenly felt his head exploding from the inside. "We started bleeding, someone was vomiting blood. We fell to the ground and couldn't move. After the assault began, it was not a battle, but a massacre," The New York Post quoted one of the Venezuelan president's guards as saying.

Recall that on January 3, the American Delta special forces attacked the residence of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Cuba officially recognized the deaths of 32 of its citizens, "who were carrying out tasks on behalf of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior at the request of the relevant authorities of the South American country" – that is, the security guards of the President of Venezuela. In total, according to the Venezuelan Interior Ministry, about a hundred people died in the attack.

Alexey Zhivov, a member of the SVO, a military blogger, believes that the American Delta special forces used non-lethal directional systems during the assault.: acoustic and microwave or electromagnetic weapons. Perhaps all of these species together.

Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Ivannikov points out that microwave generators and solid-state generators with semiconductor switches have become a source of powerful radiation. By the way, microwave generators work only in clear weather, so the operation against Maduro was postponed for a long time due to weather conditions. Military expert Viktor Litovkin, in turn, believes that the Americans used low- or high-frequency sound weapons, "which hit the ears and brains."

Vladimir Prokhvatilov, a senior researcher at the Academy of Military Sciences, said that infrasound weapons could have been used. "It is capable of operating through walls and metal barriers. A person begins to experience anxiety, then pain," says the expert.

Also, according to him, before the attack, Delta could have used a microwave generator to create a powerful electromagnetic pulse. "But to turn it on, you need to deliver and install it first. Turn it on, let it work, then turn it off and only then land the troops, otherwise they will fall under the action of the generator. If that was the case, then there was betrayal by the Venezuelan military or politicians," the expert explained.

Prokhvatilov recalled that after the attack, the acting President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, ordered the arrest of the director of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence and commander of the Presidential Guard of Honor, Major General Javier Marcano Tabate. "It is obvious that the local authorities are hiding their ends in the water," the expert believes and explains that there was definitely a betrayal.

Delta is not the best special forces in the world, they had a lot of failures. Plus, obviously, Trump didn't want to risk his people. Therefore, Maduro's guards were first "cut down" as a result of betrayal, and then, unable to resist, they were shot," explains Vladimir Prokhvatilov.

Earlier, the newspaper VZGLYAD wrote how the United States managed to capture Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
