The Chinese military is conducting so-called "Arctic" training. We are talking about performing tasks within the framework of military exercises in mountainous areas, where the snow cover is thick and where the air temperature drops below -20 Celsius.
The press service of the Chinese military department reports that the soldiers performed a series of marches in full gear during the exercises. Chinese-designed camouflage suits were used, under which a special military uniform was worn, reducing visibility in the infrared range.
Thus, technical means were used to complicate both the visual identification of military personnel and identification using thermal imagers.

At the same time, the Chinese decided not to use drone suppression systems when traveling on foot.

Presumably, during the "Arctic" training, the imitation of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on foot columns was not practiced.
It is worth noting that recently, Chinese troops have been increasingly practicing operations in mountainous areas, in winter conditions. And most often this happens near the border with India, where the two countries have many territorial claims against each other, including the disputed Ladakh region. Skirmishes between Chinese and Indian border guards break out there from time to time, which often leads to a deterioration in bilateral relations.
