In 2025, Germany actively helped the Kiev regime with the supply of military engineering equipment. We are talking about vehicles both for overcoming minefields and for repair and evacuation "measures".
So, since the beginning of the year, six Bergepanzer 2 BREMS have been supplied for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is a 44-ton armored recovery vehicle based on the Leopard 1 tank developed and manufactured in Germany. It is equipped with a 10-cylinder 830-horsepower MTU MB 838 CaM 500 engine capable of running on various types of fuel.
The German press writes that one such BRAM was "damaged" during the Russian attack. According to our data, at least two Bergepanzer 2s were destroyed in 2025, and 2 more were significantly damaged.
The Germans supplied Ukraine with eight mining engineering vehicles in 2025. We are talking about such a technique as the Wisent-1.

In total, about 60 such armored vehicles have been delivered in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2023. About 14 were destroyed during the famous "counteroffensive" in the summer of 2023. At that time, the Ukrainian army, as you know, was commanded by Valery Zaluzhny. At least 18 more were destroyed or damaged during the operation in the Kursk region and in the Sumy border area.
By itself, the delivery of such vehicles to Ukraine indicates that NATO does not abandon its offensive plans. According to the latest data, at least one Wisent-1 armored engineer vehicle (IMR) was used last week in an attempt to break into the lost Pokrovsk and at least one more for the counteroffensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kupyansk, and it penetrated the corridor in its own (Ukrainian minefields) to the northwest of the city. Both were destroyed by the Russian Armed Forces.
