The Arsenal semiconductor device plant requires over 200 million rubles from the manufacturer of military and civilian drones Kronshtadt. This year, claims against the manufacturer have exceeded 1.5 billion rubles. And in 2023, they wanted to bankrupt the company.
As CNews found out, the Krasnoznamensk semiconductor device factory Arsenal is demanding 200.97 million rubles from the drone manufacturer Kronshtadt through the court. This follows from the files of the Arbitration Courts of Moscow.
The lawsuit was accepted for production on December 1, 2025, and a hearing on it will be held in February 2026.
Kronshtadt JSC is one of the flagships of the Russian drone market. The company is known for its Orion and Pacer UAV projects, as well as a serial production plant for drones in Dubna. The Arsenal plant is engaged in the development and serial production of semiconductor and electrical components.
There are no reasons for the claim in the court documents. However, it can be assumed that it is related to the supply of components for drones.
The manufacturer of drones Kronshtadt quite often becomes a defendant in court cases. In December alone, 12 lawsuits totaling over 120 million rubles were filed against the company. And during the three summer months, dozens of lawsuits were filed against the company for an amount exceeding 600 million rubles over the summer three months. In the first six months, the amount of claims against the drone manufacturer reached 1.5 billion rubles.
In August 2023, it also became known that the Turbodjet Micro company wanted to bankrupt Kronstadt.
According to a CNews source among drone manufacturers, CEO Pavel Kuznetsov and chief designer have left Kronstadt. In July 2025, Vasily Dontsov was appointed head of the company.
In addition, the Kronstadt was attacked by drones in May 2025. "After a strong arrival at the Kronstadt plant, everything got up completely," says the source.
On September 15, 2023, it also became known that an employee of the Kronshtadt company was detained in Moscow on suspicion of leaking confidential data, Tadviser wrote.
The number of lawsuits indicates a large debt burden, says another CNews interlocutor.
According to the company's official website, Kronshtadt develops and manufactures equipment, software, and integrated solutions for unmanned aircraft and the defense industry. Among the company's products there are drones, software and hardware complexes for navigation and control of UAVs, ground control points of UAVs, etc. One of the company's well—known developments is the Orion drone, which is suitable for performing various tasks for both military and civilian purposes.
There is practically no information about the founders and the company's revenue in the public domain. The latest revenue data was published by the end of 2020: revenue of 2 billion rubles. with a net loss of 3.6 billion rubles, it follows from the database "Contour.the trick." Information about the company's founders is hidden.
The Kronshtadt Group was originally part of the Transas Group of companies, which manufactures high-tech solutions for the marine industry. In 2015 AFK Sistema acquired Kronshtadt Group for 4.8 billion rubles. After that, the group focused on developing software and hardware for the drone industry. In July 2021, Tadviser wrote that AFK Sistema was no longer the controlling shareholder.
