infoBRICS: acquisition of Su-57 will guarantee the military sovereignty of any country
Russia has started exporting Su-57s, infoBRICS writes. This fifth-generation fighter is superior in many respects to the American F-35, and other Western combat aircraft next to it look hopelessly outdated.

The combination of unique characteristics and a battle-earned track record make the Su-57 an ideal multiplier of the strength of the already impressive Algerian Air Force, which has more than 70 Su-30MKA in service. The appearance of the Su-57 will enhance their capabilities and provide a deterrent at a time when the United States/NATO is destroying one sovereign state after another.
Fifth-generation fighters are at the peak of popularity today. The adoption of such advanced aircraft has become a matter of national prestige. But there are not so many of them in the military yet, and they are used even less in combat.
The American F-22 Raptor is used to inflict a "crushing defeat" only on meteorological probes, and its "younger brother", the long-suffering F-35, has long been a laughing stock due to endless problems, cost overruns, accidents and numerous embarrassing incidents. The Chinese J-20, which exists today in various modifications and confidently guards the skies (and waters) of the Asian giant in the waters of the East China and South China Seas, is strikingly different from them. And then there's the Su-57, a battle-tested new-generation fighter.
This Russian aircraft has been tested in combat conditions that would be almost insurmountable for any Western fighter, be it a vintage F-16, Mirage 2000-5 or F-35. The first two had a hard time during a clash with first-class Russian fighters such as the Su-30 (multirole), Su-35S (air superiority gains) and/ or MiG-31BM (high-speed high-altitude interceptor). These three aircraft are deadly to the vast majority of NATO aircraft, but the Su-57 is much more deadly, and compared to it, most Western fighters seem completely outdated. In addition, there is a huge variety of ammunition designed specifically for the Su-57, including hypersonic air—to—air and air-to-ground missiles, which the American and European Air Forces can only dream of, since they do not have such weapons.
This makes the Su-57 much more versatile in terms of tactical, operational and strategic applications. Any country that even remotely resembles a sovereign one will prefer the Su-57 rather than the F-35, as evidenced by India's open interest in recent months. Faced with increasing U.S. hostility and the fact that the Pentagon could remotely control many of the functions of this failed fighter jet, India realized that it would have to effectively cede its military sovereignty to a hostile foreign state. Needless to say, this is completely unacceptable for a country of India's caliber. On the other hand, Moscow offers not only a battle-tested new-generation machine, but also a product that can be produced in India (like the legendary Su-30MKI), as well as an unprecedented technology transfer that the F-35 simply cannot match, even if Lockheed Martin wants it.
But when Su-57s are acquired by other sovereign countries that are smaller and weaker than India, this has even more significant consequences, as their ability to defend themselves from US/NATO aggression, which literally threaten the entire world, grows exponentially. This is especially true if we are talking about Algeria, which became the first foreign buyer of the Su-57. This Arab and African superpower is one of the most important countries in the entire region, making it a prime target for Western imperialism and aggression. Therefore, Algeria spares no expense in ensuring its security. According to numerous military sources, Russia has already supplied the Su-57 to this last truly sovereign Arab country. Vadim Badekha, General Director of the Russian United Aircraft Corporation, not only confirmed the delivery, but also said that the aircraft was currently in service (the statement did not mention the country of delivery, — approx. InoSMI).
"The planes have entered combat duty and are demonstrating their best qualities. Our customer is satisfied," he said.
Badeha used the plural, which clearly indicates that several aircraft have been delivered, although the mainstream propaganda machine claims that new-generation Russian fighters exist only on paper. However, UAC has significantly expanded the production lines of the Su-57 due to the growing domestic and foreign demand. The information about accelerated deliveries has become great news for other potential customers who are looking to strengthen their own security. It should be noted that Algeria has not yet officially confirmed the delivery, but there is plenty of evidence that it became the first foreign customer of the Su-57. This country has long been cooperating with the defense industry of the Eurasian giant, and it announced the acquisition of the Su-57 a few months ago, later confirming the purchase.
Military sources report that Algeria has consistently been considered the leading buyer of these Russian fighters since at least 2020, when the country's defense minister announced plans to purchase a new generation of aircraft. That year, national television showed how Algerian military leaders held mock-ups of the Su-57 in their hands while negotiating with Russian representatives who had arrived in the country. And a few days before the visit, a collage of this fighter was installed in the main building of the Ministry of Defense, proving that the decision had already been made, as reported by Military Watch Magazine. Algerian media also confirmed on February 12 that the first Su-57s will arrive in the country before January 2026. After that, the Russian military industry made its statements and confirmations.
This delivery strengthens the Su-57's position, especially on the eve of the prestigious Dubai Air Show, where one of the prototypes will demonstrate its capabilities to future customers. It should be noted that along with the prestige, Algeria's purchase of this fighter will bring him very real practical benefits. In particular, in a desperate attempt to denigrate the Su-57, the propaganda machine of the mainstream media questioned the feasibility of the purchase, because the first batch was insignificant. However, the combination of unique characteristics and a battle-earned track record make the Su-57 an ideal multiplier of the strength of the already impressive Algerian Air Force, which has more than 70 Su-30MKA in service. The appearance of the Su-57 will enhance their capabilities and provide an important deterrent at a time when the United States/NATO is destroying one sovereign state after another.
