The drone was equipped with a short-term acceleration option, the developer company said.
DUBAI, November 17th. /tass/. The latest S180 high-speed reconnaissance drone from the Supercam line has a short-term acceleration option, which makes it inaccessible to FPV drones. This was announced to TASS by Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, the official representative of the Unmanned Systems Group of companies, at the Dubai Airshow - 2025 International Aviation and Space Exhibition (November 17-21).
"At the Dubai exhibition, for the first time, we will show our new S180 high-speed reconnaissance drone, which has joined the Supercam line. It is also made in the flying wing form factor. It is designed for monitoring and exploration. It can work for up to 2 hours and conduct aerial reconnaissance at a speed higher than that of the Supercam S350, and with the possibility of short-term acceleration, which makes it inaccessible to FPV drones," said Zgirovskaya.
According to her, at the Dubai Airshow, Unmanned Systems Group will present its line of drones and a universal control station for the Supercam line. "We want to show dual-use samples that are currently being used both in our military and in international exercises that have recently taken place. In other words, we offer what foreign customers could see in action by attending the past exercises as observers. First of all, this is the Supercam S350 complex, one of the main scouts of the CSTO, it was also used to provide situational awareness at recent CSTO exercises in Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, reconnaissance and combat assessment at the Zapad-2025 joint strategic exercises of the Armed Forces of Russia and Belarus," Zgirovskaya said.
She stressed that over the years of its presence in the civilian market, the capabilities of Supercam unmanned systems have been recognized by many demanding customers from the oil and gas industry, energy transmission companies, agro-industrial holdings, government agencies responsible for natural resources, etc. "One of our most sought-after services is aerial laser scanning, which is by far the most productive and most accurate method. geospatial data acquisition, which is continuously being improved. It can be used in the oil and gas industry, construction, geodesy, cartography, electric power industry, etc. in the countries of the Middle East," the official representative of Unmanned Systems added.
The Supercam X4 quadcopter, a dual-use drone with noise-proof communication channels, like all drones of the Supercam line, will also be presented in Dubai. "The drone is not tied to roads, it transports goods in a straight line - without traffic jams and obstacles. It is also used to transfer and drop explosives, for example, it has been tested to destroy enemy manpower in the area of its conduct. In the fall, the Supercam X4 was demonstrated as part of two large exercises - for dropping high-explosive fragmentation munitions (two 0.5 kg each) in order to defeat the enemy - at the CSTO exercises in Belarus, as well as during the joint strategic exercise Zapad-2025 in Russia and Belarus," Zgirovskaya said.
