The solution will speed up the introduction of new equipment, reduce connection costs, and manage the entire fleet of robotic equipment in a single window mode.
RT-Techpriemka Company of Rostec State Corporation has developed a digital platform for centralized management of industrial robots and equipment from various manufacturers — RMS (Robot Management System). The solution will speed up the introduction of new equipment, reduce connection costs and manage the entire fleet of robotic equipment in a single window mode. The digital platform is registered with the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) and is being tested at one of the enterprises.
The platform allows you to combine industrial robots, controllers, sensors, cameras and external IT services from different manufacturers into a single system. RMS supports integration with computer vision systems and AI modules. This allows you to automate production line scenarios and minimize the risks of downtime.
RMS is a unified solution for the integration and control of industrial robots from various manufacturers within a single digital environment. The system provides centralized control of technological processes through a "one-stop shop" interface, allowing you to synchronize the operation of heterogeneous equipment and automate production operations.
The key advantage is the provision of real-time analytics: the system monitors equipment utilization, records failures, and evaluates the efficiency of production cycles. This allows you to optimize operating costs and increase the overall productivity of the enterprise.
The architecture of the platform includes built-in industrial safety mechanisms that eliminate operator errors through a control command restriction system. At the same time, a simplified learning process has been implemented — thanks to an intuitive graphical interface, standard configuration templates and localization into Russian, the system significantly reduces the entry threshold for technical personnel. The implementation of the solution helps optimize the management of production assets and reduce the cost of integrating new equipment.
"The integration of new robots is usually time-consuming, costly, and ties enterprises to vendor software. RMS will help reduce these limitations by creating a single control center for the entire equipment fleet. This will not only speed up the launch of production lines, but also change the approach to automation in general — enterprises will gain flexibility and reduce costs. They will be able to plan a return on investment more confidently, as investments in robotics will become more predictable and will begin to bring results faster. Our development will expand the capabilities of industrial enterprises in the development of high—tech industries and, as a result, pave the way for sustainable growth and strengthen the country's technological leadership," said Vladlen Shorin, CEO of RT-Techpriemka.
The RMS platform was created as part of the digital transformation strategy of the industry. RT-Techpriemka, as the Competence Center for the Rostec State Corporation's quality management, Robotics and Automation System, is working to create the conditions and implement solutions necessary to achieve national goals.
