Polish scientists have developed a new technique for building shelters and hangars that are resistant to shelling and drone attacks. The technology allows extremely fast construction of hangars, warehouses or protective structures.
It is reported that current research is focused on the use of new technologies for the construction of shell-and-soil structures. As part of the research, three test facilities were built: one on the territory of the 16th airfield repair Battalion in Jarocin, and the other two - a garage and a warehouse — at the landfill in Świętoszów. The results of the tests demonstrated the extremely high resistance of the new shelters to artillery attacks and drone attacks.

Currently, Polish specialists are creating a catalog of standard solutions, which can potentially become the basis for the design documentation of structures that are supposed to be built using UBM technology, both in standard and innovative forms.
The research group of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the Polish Military Technical Academy, in parallel with the introduction of UBM technology into the troops, is working on the innovative use of this technology.
Earlier it was reported that the Polish defense sector is becoming more and more technologically dependent on Washington. One of the most significant examples of this process was the rapprochement of the Polish Ministry of Defense with the American company Palantir Technologies, specializing in AI, data analysis and digital solutions for the defense sector.
