On October 22, in the lecture hall of the TsAGI Demonstration Center (Zhukovsky, within the framework of the discussion club, a meeting was held with a man of amazing destiny – pilot-cosmonaut of the Russian Federation, Hero of Russia Alexander Lazutkin. It was he who happened to become a participant in one of the most extreme space expeditions in the history of space exploration.

Before the meeting, the curator of the exhibition Dmitry Yaroshevsky conducted a tour of the historical and documentary exhibition "184 days on Mira Street or the expedition of a lifetime", dedicated to both the epoch-making flight and the difficult fate of the Mir space station.

How is the selection process for the cosmonaut squad? What qualities should a future conqueror of outer space possess? During the meeting, the cosmonaut was ceremoniously presented with an official certificate of naming a minor planet after him. It is issued by the Institute of Applied Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the basis of a decision of the Committee on Naming Minor Planets of the International Astronomical Union. It was presented to the hero of the occasion by the discoverer of the planet, astronomer-researcher Timur Kryachko.
