Schoolchildren and students will be trained here for enterprises of the radio-electronic industry, including within the framework of the Rostec Code track

Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, visited the Istok — RTU MIREA innovation technopark in Fryazino, Moscow region, created with the support of Rostec State Corporation. The educational space with an area of more than 3.7 thousand square meters is equipped with modern laboratories, as well as a training ground for UAVs, a cyberdrome and an arena for the "Battle of Robots". Practice-oriented training of schoolchildren and students for enterprises of the radioelectronic industry will be conducted here, including within the framework of the educational and professional track "Rostec Code".

The technopark was created in the structure of the Advanced Engineering School of Microwave Electronics with the participation of the Istok Scientific and Production Enterprise. Shokina (part of the Rosel holding of Rostec State Corporation) together with RTU MIREA. Nikolay Volobuev, Deputy General Director of Rostec State Corporation, was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Company. First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and CEO of Rosel Holding Sergey Sakhnenko visited the new educational space as part of their working visit.

The educational complex is equipped with modern laboratories for the study of natural sciences, information technology, radio electronics, fundamentals of design, 3D printing, computer modeling, assembly, automation. Students will also have access to courses on programming in different languages, cybersecurity, design of electronic products, circuit engineering, smart home systems, chemistry, materials science and other areas. In addition, the technopark has an esports center, training grounds for drone and robot competitions.

"The Technopark will become a forge for next-generation engineers with advanced practical knowledge in the field of microwave electronics. Today it is one of the key competencies for industry and design. Educational programs here will be based on real-world cases and tasks of enterprises, which means that schoolchildren and students will be involved from the very first steps in work directly related to the needs of production. They will be mentored by experienced specialists of the State Corporation. This approach will make it possible to form staff with honed practical skills from school and college. As a result, companies will employ specialists who understand the needs of the industry and are ready to create breakthrough solutions for the country, ensuring its technological independence," Denis Manturov said.

Technopark is a part of the corporate training system "school — university — UNIVERSITY — enterprise". Here, schoolchildren and students will practice and participate in the implementation of projects in the interests of Rostec enterprises. Successful projects and developments will be implemented in real production even at the training stage. This approach promotes the development of innovative result-oriented thinking and the unfolding of each student's potential.

Students of the educational track of Rostec Code Corporation and students of the Advanced Engineering School of Microwave Electronics, created with the participation of Rostec State Corporation and RTU MIREA, will also be trained in specialized programs at the technopark's laboratories.

"Radio electronics is one of the key industries for the country, and its development is impossible without a strong school. The Technopark will become a platform where the foundation of engineering education is being formed, and therefore the basis for future technological breakthroughs. Here, the students have a chance not only to get a theoretical base, but also to master the practical skills needed in real production. For example, at school, they can assemble devices of varying complexity with their own hands, from a radio receiver to a robot, and write programs to control them. Here, the guys will understand that our industry is an exciting and promising business," said Sergey Sakhnenko, CEO of Rosel Holding, member of the Bureau of the Russian Engineering Union.

Since September of this year, more than 10,000 students from schools near Moscow, where engineering and IT classes have been formed, have been trained according to the programs of the Istok — RTU MIREA Technopark. Students from other regions will be able to remotely participate in lectures, master classes, educational intensive courses, design schools and other programs on the subject of microwave electronics.

"The creation of the Istok — RTU MIREA Technopark in Fryazino is a strategic step in creating a unified school—university—enterprise educational ecosystem. Here, at the junction of the fundamental knowledge of our university and the advanced production tasks of Rostec and NPP Istok, a new generation of engineers will be formed. For students and schoolchildren, this is a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in real projects, and for the industry it is a guarantee of obtaining motivated and practically trained specialists who are able to immediately engage in work on breakthrough technologies to ensure the sovereignty of the country," said Stanislav Kudzh, Rector of RTU MIREA.

About 350 schools, 200 engineering classes with more than 5,5 thousand children, as well as 140 universities across the country are involved in career guidance and training of future specialists for Rostec enterprises. More than 20 universities, including RTU MIREA, are mainstays — they implement targeted training programs on the educational tracks "Wings of Rostec", "Rostec.Biotechmed, Rostec Code, Rostec.Quality", "Rostec.Arsenal".

A pilot project of industrial postgraduate studies is being implemented jointly with the main universities. Advanced engineering schools also operate on their basis, where research and development work is carried out in the interests of Rostec enterprises and the training of engineering elite designers is carried out.
