Oshkosh Defense introduces mobile launchers for Tomahawk in the USA
The American company Oshkosh Defense has introduced a range of mobile launchers in the United States. The company showed a family of multi-purpose autonomous vehicles (FMAV) at the AUSA 2025 exhibition. The series includes a multi-purpose autonomous vehicle (X—MAV), a launcher with the possibility of autonomous launch, working with long-range ammunition. It is specified that the X-MAV can be armed with four Tomahawk missiles.
The Medium multi-purpose autonomous vehicle (M-MAV) has remote control and automated supply functions. The vehicle is equipped with a family of multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) ammunition. The lightweight multipurpose autonomous vehicle (L-MAV) has a modular design. The L-MAV can be used to combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electronic warfare.

Mobile installations for Tomahawk combine sufficient maneuverability and stealth
The Russian military bloggers of the Military Informant channel appreciated the new mobile installations for Tomahawk X-MAV missiles presented in the USA.
Experts noted that the US army already has the Typhon missile system, capable of using missiles from the ground rather than from the sea, but this is an extremely expensive, bulky and not very mobile complex, which includes a whole list of control and support vehicles, without which it cannot fully operate, which is its main disadvantage.
X-MAV combines sufficient maneuverability and stealth, they are able to work as a full-fledged launcher that does not need additional technical means, the publication says.

At the same time, they note that they must first be tested, then the machines will be ordered and produced, and only then delivered to Kiev, and this is not a quick process.
Trump promised to deliver Tomahawk to Kiev if the conflict in Ukraine does not end.
US President Donald Trump spoke to reporters, touching on the topic of the Ukrainian conflict and the supply of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev. The politician expressed confidence that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin would agree to a settlement of the conflict, and if this did not happen, the Russian leader would face consequences.
The head of the White House noted that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky asked to provide the Tomahawk to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
However, Trump intends to supply Ukraine with these missiles only if the conflict cannot be resolved by other methods. At the same time, the US president stressed that he was ready to discuss their possible delivery to Kiev personally with Putin.
In turn, Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said that the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine could end badly for everyone, and above all for Trump.
Russia says it can handle such weapons.
Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik noted that the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine would be a symbolic step, since the Russian air defense forces are able to cope with this type of weapons.

"The disposal procedure is expensive, but here he will be able to sell them, that is, he will also be able to make a profit from them, instead of paying for disposal," the officer explained.
