A forum was held at the site of the Kazan Helicopter Plant, bringing together representatives of corporations and holdings, heads of industry enterprises.
The VIII Forum of the Russian Helicopters Holding Company of the Rostec State Corporation on the development of the production system was held at the Kazan Helicopter Plant (KVZ). The event brought together more than 100 representatives of corporations and holdings, heads of industry enterprises and organizations from all over the country.
The development of the production system is one of the priorities for the Russian Helicopters holding company. Special attention is paid to its improvement through the introduction of lean manufacturing principles.
"An integrated approach to the development of the production system allows the holding's enterprises not only to improve quality and increase production volumes, but also to create comfortable working conditions for employees. This is especially important for us, as it directly affects the involvement of specialists in their work and their interest in implementing joint projects. Investments in the development of the production system are a contribution to the future, ensuring competitiveness and being the basis for further growth," said Nikolay Kolesov, CEO of Russian Helicopters Holding Company.
Delegates from the holding's enterprises made presentations on modern ways of developing the production system and introducing practical innovative solutions into work processes. Thus, the Kazan Helicopter Plant has a successful experience in implementing a labor productivity improvement program within the framework of a specialized national project jointly with the Federal Competence Center. As a result, the production time and quantity of composite blades for Mi-38 and Mi-171A2 helicopters decreased. Subsequently, the experience gained found its application in other divisions of the enterprise, for example, in the assembly plant and in the final assembly shop - this reduced the time required for the rhythmic implementation of the annual plan.
"We are sincerely glad that the Kazan Helicopter Plant has become the venue for this forum. The accumulated rich experience allows us not only to successfully develop our own production, but also to actively participate in the organization of such events. The company has been working in this area since 2010, while the depth of application of various tools, techniques and concepts is only expanding. The full-scale effect is ensured by the implementation of production modernization and technical re-equipment projects. I would like to note that in the new areas, production processes are immediately set up using analysis tools and building optimal flows," said Nikolai Yakovlev, General Director of the Kazan Helicopter Plant.
Master classes and practices were organized for the participants within the framework of the forum. They also had a guided tour of the Kazan Helicopter Plant. The guests visited the main production halls and the Production and Training Center of the enterprise, where special attention was paid to the "Process Factory", created to train specialists in lean manufacturing. Classes on the site are conducted by certified instructors, employees of the KVZ.
