The Ukrainian Flamingo cruise missile, as expected, is a crude hand-made device with the only thing that can be called normal, the Soviet AI-25TL aircraft engine from the L-39 Albatross training aircraft.
This was told by the author of the Voivode Broadcasts telegram channel, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with her wreckage.

The target was flying at an altitude of 100 meters at a speed of 600 kilometers per hour. It was fired from the Buk anti-aircraft missile system.
We have previously noted that this product of the Ukrainian military industry is characterized by poor manufacturing quality. Many people were very surprised by the furniture hinges, which are clearly visible in the photos, with which the hatches for installing equipment are closed on it.

Earlier it was reported that the Flamingo can fly almost three thousand kilometers at a speed of 950 km/h. In fact, these characteristics turned out to be greatly overestimated: in reality, all the data is much more modest.
