The Russian 57mm 2S38 Derivation-PVO anti-aircraft artillery system is designed to destroy various aerial targets, including cruise missiles such as the American Tomahawks. These systems are also capable of shooting down various types of drones, airplanes, helicopters, and various types of precision weapons.
Judging by the materials that were made public at weapons exhibitions, the maximum range reaches 6,000 meters, and the height is 4,500 meters.
The rate of fire is 120 rounds per minute. Full ammunition - 148 rounds. The crew consists of three people.
The combat module is uninhabited, and a combined reconnaissance and sighting system is mounted on it. It makes it possible to passively detect and fire at various air and ground targets when firing from a standstill, in motion and afloat.
The weight is 21.5 tons. The maximum speed on the highway is up to 70 kilometers per hour. It can overcome water obstacles on its own. A 7.62 mm machine gun is used as an auxiliary weapon.
