TSAMTO, September 2. JSC KB Radar, the management company of the Radar Systems Holding (Belarus), is developing electronic warfare systems that provide effective solutions to the problems of electronic suppression and radio monitoring in modern conditions.
One of the key developments of JSC KB Radar among the means of countering radio communications is the Groza–6 VHF interference station.
Groza-6 provides detection, bearing, location determination and radio suppression of ground and aircraft communication channels in the VHF band. It works effectively both at fixed frequencies and in conditions of programmed frequency tuning.
Key advantages:
wide frequency coverage – from 30 to 6000 MHz;
- maximum range of action:
- up to 40 km for land lines;
- up to 200 km for aviation channels.
automatic location of radio sources with display on a digital terrain map;
flexibility of application:
- offline mode;
- work in pairs ("master-slave");
- integration into the Voronovo complex under the control of the Berezina command post;
Multi–channel suppression is the use of a number of independent interference transmitters and the possibility of simultaneous suppression of multiple communication lines.

The Purga HF interference station is designed to detect, locate, and suppress ground and aircraft radio communication lines in the shortwave (HF) band. It effectively counteracts radio communication lines both at fixed frequencies and with software tuning of the operating frequency, emitting interference on surface and spatial waves.
Key advantages:
high range of action:
- radio suppression of communication lines by surface wave – up to 60 km;
- radio suppression of communication lines by spatial wave – up to 2000 km;
automatic location of radio sources with display on a digital terrain map;
flexibility of application:
- autonomous operation;
- work in pairs ("master-slave");
- integration into the Voronovo complex under the control of the Berezina command post.

Another product of JSC KB Radar is the Berezina electronic warfare and radio control station, which is designed to control radio interference stations, interference transmitters and radio monitoring stations of the HF and VHF bands, as well as for automated information exchange with a higher control point.
Advantages of the Berezina control center:
- extensive frequency range of controlled jamming and radio monitoring stations – from 1.5 MHz to 6000 MHz;
- scalability – simultaneous control of 12 jamming and radio monitoring stations;
- intelligent data processing – collection, analysis and archiving of information about radio emissions from subordinate jamming and radio monitoring stations;
- automated targeting and target designation to subordinate jamming stations;
- tactical interface – visualization of the situation on a digital terrain map;
- automated information exchange with a similar control point that performs the functions of a subordinate or superior control point.
The Berezina electronic warfare and radio control center is a modern command post that provides a high degree of automation of electronic warfare processes. The Berezina product significantly increases the responsiveness and effectiveness of suppressing enemy radio networks.

The Voronovo complex is designed to solve the problems of complex application of radio monitoring and electronic warfare, as well as to ensure coordinated counteraction to various types of targets.
The main features of the complex:
- radio reconnaissance and radio suppression of ground and aircraft communication lines in the HF and VHF bands, including operation at fixed frequencies and in the mode of program adjustment of the operating frequency;
- analysis of the electronic and tactical situation with its display on an electronic terrain map;
- radio suppression of navigation equipment of GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo systems;
- disinformation (spoofing) of navigation equipment.
Voronovo is intended for use by electronic warfare units as part of a company or battalion.
It consists of:
Berezina Battalion command post;
two companies of the same type of radio intelligence and radio suppression, each of which includes:
- Berezina Company command post;
- four VHF interference stations "Groza-6";
- two KV-band interference stations "Purga";
- two electronic warfare stations to combat the Groza-S UAV;
Optima-3.2 radio interference system for suppressing GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo navigation signals.
