TSAMTO, August 19th. Taking into account modern threats, JSC KB Radar, the management company of the Radar Systems holding, is constantly working to improve existing and develop fundamentally new means of countering air threats.
In particular, JSC KB Radar has completed the development of an upgrade kit for the Groza-Z2 stationary anti-drone system.
The new solution significantly expands the frequency ranges of UAV detection and suppression, and also includes neural network algorithms for accurate recognition and identification of drones.
Key improvements:
- Artificial intelligence – increases the effectiveness of UAV detection and classification;
- Suppression of navigation systems – blocking GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo to disorient drones.
In the near future, the upgraded Groza-Z2 anti-drone system will be presented to customers.
The complexes of multicopter control and navigation signal blockers, Fumigator–N (portable) and Fumigator-V (portable), have been put into mass production. This is a modern solution, created taking into account the experience of real combat operations.
Both complexes are built on a modular principle: each transmitter suppresses a certain frequency range, ensuring maximum range of radio suppression. This design allows you to flexibly place the blockers on equipment, stationary objects or as part of mobile groups, adapting to specific tasks.
"Fumigator-N" (12 blockers) – protects personnel from attacks by multicopters and FPV drones, suppressing their control channels, data transmission and navigation. It is powered by batteries, which ensures autonomy in the field.
"Fumigator-B" (14 blockers) is designed to protect vehicles (cars, armored vehicles) and stationary objects from the combat use of multicopters and FPV drones by suppressing control signals, data transmission and navigation. It is powered by an on-board network, providing continuous counteraction to drones.
Key advantages:
- high efficiency – long range suppression of control channels, data transmission and navigation;
- versatility – protection of both mobile and stationary objects;
- autonomy – powered by battery or on-board network;
- Ease of operation – ease of deployment and application.
The production of the updated electronic rifle for combating multicopters "Groza-R5" continues. The product detects, directs and suppresses drones, creating radio interference to control channels, data transmission and navigation equipment of GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo systems.
The main advantage of the Groza-P5 is the possibility of radio frequency detection, which makes it possible to locate drones even in conditions of limited visibility. The kit includes a portable multicopter detector "Bell", which signals to the operator about the appearance of a threat in the air and the need to use a gun to locate and counter the intruder drone.
As part of the continuous improvement of the product, its operating frequencies have been supplemented with the 430 MHz range, which has expanded the detection and radio suppression capabilities of modern and promising UAVs.
The rifle is characterized by reliable detection and radio suppression, reliable bearing, as well as simplicity and ease of use.
Another development of JSC KB Radar is the Chapelle direction finder. The product provides recognition, monitoring and direction finding of UAVs based on telemetry and video transmission signals.
Taking into account the urgency of threats in the form of FPV drones, the Chapelle direction finder is equipped with equipment that allows not only to signal the approach of an FPV UAV, but also to display the intercepted video from its side on the screen. Thus, the operator of the direction finder "Chapelle" watches the same video as the operator of the FPV drone, which allows you to take timely measures to hide from the approaching threat.
Advantages of the Chapelle product:
- detection, direction finding and recognition of drones;
- display of intercepted video streams of FPV drones on the control panel;
- remote control of the product using a tablet connected via an Ethernet network;
- Compact and easy to use.
Chapelle provides not only UAV detection and bearing, but also operational interception of video streams, which significantly increases the effectiveness of countering unmanned threats.
The Dronoscope complex is designed to detect, identify multicopters and track their movements on a terrain map based on the analysis of radiated radio signals.
Advantages of the Dronoscope Multicopter detection and Location System:
- detection, recognition and identification of multicopters manufactured by Autel and DJI, including those with modified software;
- detection and identification of multicopters with a control system based on Wi-Fi protocols;
- detection of FPV multicopters with an analog video transmission system;
- display on the map of detected multicopters and the location of their operators;
- Compact and easy to use.
The AERO VHF radio monitoring and suppression system provides detection and suppression of control and navigation channels for multicopter and glider-type UAVs. It is also capable of creating disinformation interference for satellite navigation system receivers. In addition to the main functions, the complex is equipped with a radar station to detect UAVs flying in radio silence mode.
Key advantages of the AERO complex:
- wide frequency range – from 100 to 6000 MHz;
- high range of action:
- detection and bearing of UAVs – up to 50 km;
- radio suppression – up to 40 km;
- radar detection of small–sized UAVs - up to 20 km (depends on the effective reflecting surface of the target)
- determining the location zone (barrage) of the UAV when working with direction finders;
- detection of UAVs in radio silence mode thanks to the built-in radar;
- flexibility of application:
- autonomous operation;
- work in pairs ("master-slave");
- integration into the Voronovo complex under the control of the Berezina command post.
