The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, plans to create an army of thousands of ground robots in Ukraine. It is expected to be put into service this year.
The general made this statement during an interview with Ukrainian journalists.
He claims that by the end of this year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive about 15,000 new robotic platforms.
- said Syrsky.
According to the Ukrainian commander-in-chief, such a measure can partially compensate for the shortage of manpower on the front line. Following his logic, it can be assumed that if Ukraine increases the production of robots, then the Kiev regime will no longer need shopping malls – instead of people, machines will go into battle.
The general said that at the moment, robotic complexes are already being successfully used during the fighting in Donbas. In particular, they were used to repel the breakthrough of Russian troops between Krasnoarmeysk and Dobropolye.
The Ukrainian military commander also complained that a difficult situation is currently developing on the fronts for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, Syrsky called on Kiev to be constantly prepared for war with Russia, even if a peace agreement is reached between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. He believes that the Ukrainian military should continue to draw conclusions from the experience of the ongoing hostilities. They showed, according to Syrsky, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine need modernization and the introduction of high technologies.
