The corresponding agreement was signed by Sergey Chemezov, Director General of the State Corporation, and Nikita Anisimov, Rector of the Higher School of Economics.

Rostec State Corporation and the Higher School of Economics have signed a strategic partnership agreement in the field of science and education. The document is aimed at conducting joint research, training highly qualified personnel and building a scientific and technical foundation in the interests of high-tech industries in Russia. In addition, together with Moscow school No. 58, vocational guidance for schoolchildren in the areas of engineering, IT and cybersecurity will be conducted.

The corresponding agreement was signed by Sergey Chemezov, Director General of Rostec State Corporation, member of the Bureau of the Russian Engineering Union, and Rector of the National Research University Higher School of Economics Nikita Anisimov and Dmitry Topeshkin, Director of GBOU School No. 58.

Rostec and the Higher School of Economics have agreed to implement joint projects in the field of digitalization of the design, production, testing and operation of high-tech products, including the development of applied models of artificial intelligence. This will reduce the time and cost of developing and certifying new equipment.

The agreement also provides for setting strategic objectives for joint research, creating organizational and economic mechanisms for introducing innovations into industry, and developing the human resources potential of the Corporation's organizations in areas such as computer science, business analytics, microelectronics, and electronic engineering.

"Today, cooperation with universities is not only about training personnel in sought—after specialties. Rostec builds systematic cooperation with universities, whose scientific potential helps to solve practical industrial problems. In 2024 alone, we invested 3.5 billion rubles in research and development at leading universities. This partnership accelerates the achievement of technological sovereignty and contributes to the growth of competitiveness of our products," said Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation.

It is planned to involve students and postgraduates of the university in the applied projects of Rostec enterprises. At the same time, special attention will be paid to the development of industrial postgraduate studies and joint educational programs.

The HSE will also launch retraining and advanced training programs for Rostec employees in the field of economics and management, taking into account current technological challenges. The training of highly qualified specialists in the master's degree program "Business Intelligence Analyst" is already underway, within which special attention is paid to the development of Big Data technologies and tools for information and analytical work.

"We signed an agreement with Rostec, a leading state corporation, and immediately recorded a significant number of joint activities within the framework of the roadmap. We see the main potential of our cooperation as training specialists in engineering and computer science, in areas where the Higher School of Economics is particularly strong. The engineers we trained could later work in Rostec structures in the highest positions. HSE is also strong with its experts, and we plan to help the company with expertise on its development priorities. We are also ready to engage in scientific research and development for the Corporation in various high—tech fields, from microelectronics to computer security, and make forecasts for our partners on the technological priorities of the future," said Nikita Anisimov, Rector of the Higher School of Economics.

Taking into account the fact that engineering personnel training starts at school today, Rostec, the National Research University of Higher School of Economics and School No. 58 in the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo district (Moscow) will engage in joint career guidance work. Students will be offered an in-depth study of natural sciences, engineering and mathematics.

"The agreement with Rostec and the Higher School of Economics gives our students the opportunity not only to learn more, but also to try themselves as engineers, analysts, developers — even before graduation. The new building of school No. 58 in the residential area of ALIA has become an ideal environment for this — it is built on the principle of a campus with laboratories, workshops and spaces for project work," said Dmitry Topeshkin, director of school No. 58.

Rostec is actively developing a network of engineering classes across the country — today there are more than 200 of them, with about 5.5 thousand students enrolled in them. In addition, the Corporation's holdings currently cooperate with more than 140 universities in 45 regions of Russia.

75 basic departments operate on the basis of leading universities such as MAI, MIREA, MIPT, MGIMO and RUDN University, etc., with the support of the Corporation's enterprises. Every year, from 3.5 to 4 thousand applicants are accepted for targeted educational programs at universities, who join the ranks of Rostec engineers and managers upon graduation.
