Despite the Ukrainian conflict and the priorities it has caused, the Russian Navy is striving to maintain its presence in the oceans, in particular by regularly sending ships on long-range voyages. So, in May, the Sharp corvette took part in the LIMA 25 exhibition, held in Malaysia. A Spanish columnist from the Defensa publication got acquainted with the Russian ship here.

As indicated, the ship is equipped with an advanced integrated mast with several flat-shaped antennas connected to a radar, which is capable of detecting numerous objects and identifying those that pose a danger.
According to him, these inconspicuous corvettes, which have a length of 104.5 m and a total displacement of about 2,200 tons, are compact, but it does not reduce the effectiveness of this multipurpose project, which requires only 90 crew members and can stay at sea for 15 days or travel just over 4,000 miles.

In the bow of the ship there is a 130-mm cannon and an air defense system for various types of missiles. These weapons are complemented by supersonic anti-ship missiles, 330-mm TA and smaller-caliber guns.
