The variant of the Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle with the Berezhok fighting compartment receives additional capabilities not only to combat heavy armored vehicles of the enemy, but also various fortifications.
According to open data, the Kornet anti-tank missile system used is capable, depending on the modification, of hitting at a range of 5,500 - 8,000 meters. Tandem cumulative warheads penetrate the thickest frontal armor of Western tanks. Installing dynamic protection on it does not help.
The penetration of concrete reaches generally record values - up to three meters. Powerful high-explosive and thermobaric warheads have also been developed for the Cornet.

In addition to the 30 mm automatic cannon and the 7.62mm PKT machine gun, the firepower is significantly enhanced by the 30 mm AG-30 automatic grenade launcher.
The installed sighting systems are equipped with thermal imaging channels and automatic target tracking devices, ensuring high accuracy of using weapons at any time of the day.
