Photos have been published online showing the transformation of artillery shells by Chinese specialists into precision bombs designed for the needs of PLA combat aircraft.

Apparently, these works are experimental in nature. At least, at the moment there is no information about the adoption of these weapons by the troops.
The new guided aerial bomb, created in this way, consists of a 152/155 mm artillery shell, to which is attached a module with a tail unit, a wing and equipment responsible for satellite and inertial navigation. It is assumed that when dropped from a height of 5-6 km, such ammunition can fly a distance of up to 50 km.

As indicated in the Altair publication, the advantages of this aerial bomb are relatively low cost, high availability of artillery ammunition for their conversion into a new weapon of destruction, as well as range and accuracy of destruction.:

However, if these bombs are used from relatively small drones, rather than from combat aircraft, then they may well justify themselves.
