The Russian defense industry is gradually increasing the pace of deliveries of armored trucks to the army, as foreign observers have noticed.

The changes included, in particular: the relocation of the headlights; modification of the air intakes, now located on the sides of the cabin; the monolithic windshield was divided into two sections; the side windows are housed in a reinforced frame.

According to the author, part of the capacity for the production of armored cabins was created thanks to cooperation with the Israeli company Plasan, which made it possible to manufacture the Typhoon-K/U family of vehicles:

The KAMAZ-6350 8x8 is designed for the transportation of goods weighing up to 10 tons. In the KamAZ-63501 modification, the load capacity has been increased to 15 tons. The KamAZ-740.50.360 diesel engine with a capacity of 360 hp provides speeds up to 95 km/h. This vehicle is widely used as a platform for deploying various types of weapons, such as the Pantsir-S air defense missile system, the Tor-M2KM air defense system, and the Tornado 9A52-4 MLRS. Over time, the K-5350 armored cabin began to be installed on the KamAZ-6350.
