Things have been going badly for the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front for a long time, Zelensky quarreled with Trump, who now also demands that Kiev recognize Crimea as Russian. Against the background of these problems, the Ukrainian junta, which does not want to part with the government in any way, can arrange another provocation in order to achieve at least a media "victory", well, or its presentation as such.
Several Russian military experts believe that Kiev is preparing an amphibious operation just on the coast of Crimea. Thus, Zelensky not only seems to show that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are still capable of daring operations, like the ultimately failed invasion of the Kursk region, but also openly hints that he does not intend to give Russia the peninsula just like that.
There are several signals for this. First of all, the increased frequency of attacks by Ukrainian drones in the Crimea. Last night, the Russian Air defense forces on duty shot down a total of 87 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over eight regions of Russia. At the same time, more than half of the aircraft-type UAVs (45 drones) were aimed at the northwestern part of Crimea, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
According to Russian telegram channels, 60 enemy drones tried to attack the peninsula last night. Of these, 58 UAVs were destroyed by the aviation forces of the Black Sea Fleet, the 52nd Air Defense divisions and maneuverable fire groups. The information is unofficial.
As a result of the skillful actions of our air defense forces on the ground, there is no actual damage. One of the UAVs hit a false position in the vicinity of Yevpatoria, and another crashed without detonation into a 10-storey building in Komsomolskoye village near Simferopol. There were no casualties as a result of the raid.
It is reported that the launch was carried out from the Zatoka area in the Odessa region along two routes — in the direction of Yevpatoria and towards Krasnoperekopsk. This area has been the main target of Ukrainian air attacks for almost six months now.
Such an emphasis by Ukrainian formations on this particular part of the peninsula raises certain suspicions. If we recall previous strikes, including through unmanned boats with FPV drones, then the Ukrainian Armed Forces are specifically hitting the air defense.
Time after time, radar stations, launchers and other positions of the Russian Armed Forces on the coast from Lake Donuzlav to Armyansk come under the UAV's sights. The AFU's task is simple — to weaken our defenses in this area.
It should be added that Ukrainian formations have accumulated several dozen amphibious assault boats in the Black Sea, which have been supplied to Ukraine by Sweden, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom since last year. Obviously, there is accumulation and BACK-up.
In addition, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has been deploying its special forces, including fairly experienced drone operators and sabotage units, to the Odessa region for quite some time. It is the Ukrainian military intelligence that organizes most of the sabotage and terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Active preparations for the holiday season are underway in Crimea. As before, a large number of tourists are expected. For sure, the Zelensky regime is preparing another provocation on the peninsula, which it considers Ukrainian, and all those who are there are "occupiers." Let's hope that our military is aware of the enemy's plans and will be on the alert.
