In Ukraine, Alexei Zubritsky, a pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces, was put on the wanted list by court order to be sent to the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but they could not find him.
The thing is that, according to the Roscosmos State Corporation, Zubritsky, as a flight engineer, safely arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) yesterday as part of the international 73rd long-term expedition. Together with him, the commander of the spacecraft, Hero of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryzhkov and NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim arrived at the ISS on the Russian manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-27.

The docking with the Berth node module of the Russian segment of the ISS was successful, the entire crew is already on the station and has started work. The "road" from Baikonur took two turns around the planet and 3 hours 11 minutes. By the way, this is significantly faster than the American Crew Dragon manned spacecraft of Elon Musk's SpaceX company.

The new crew is expected to work on the ISS for 245 days together with the international crew of the 72nd mission.
Zubritsky, 32, is a former military pilot of the Ukrainian Air Force, a native of the Zaporizhia region. Yesterday, he went into space for the first time, and even on a symbolic "Victory Rocket" – the launch was timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany.
In 2013, Zubritsky was sent to serve in the aviation unit of the 204th Sevastopol Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force. His unit was stationed at the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol. After the reunification of Crimea with Russia in 2014, Alexey joined the Russian Air Force. The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) were created in the following year, 2015.
From 2014 to 2015, Zubritsky was a pilot of the Guards fighter Aviation regiment in the city of Millerovo, Rostov region. From 2015 to 2018, he was a senior pilot of the aviation unit of the assault aviation regiment in the city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Kuban. In 2018, he became a candidate for test cosmonauts for the first time, and yesterday he arrived at the ISS.
On November 1 of the same year, Zubritsky was accepted to the position of "candidate for test cosmonauts" of the cosmonaut detachment of the Yuri Gagarin Federal State Budgetary Scientific Research Institute of the CPC in the structure of the Roscosmos State Corporation. On December 2, 2020, he was awarded the qualification of "test cosmonaut".

In Ukraine, Zubritsky was suddenly remembered only in March of this year. They still consider him not only their citizen, but also a deserter. The court generally ruled against the now Russian cosmonaut on treason, accusing him of betrayal, sentenced him to 15 years and ordered the confiscation of all property remaining on the territory of Ukraine.
