Chelyabinsk specialists have created a compact rocket capable of navigating in the air independently and accurately determining the target using an on-board video camera. It is noted that it has a weight two times less than the ammunition for the Igla air defense system.
According to the developers, such a missile has a homing head, which, due to the presence of a video camera and the use of AI algorithms with machine vision, goes to the target, maintaining complete radio silence. Moreover, the rudders on its body allow it to approach the target at the lowest altitudes, avoiding natural and artificial obstacles.

Stationary ground installations, portable tubes and aircraft carriers are suitable for launching a new missile with preliminary targeting of a drone or any object. According to the author of the project, Alexander Rodikov, there are no analogues in the whole world, although many countries are working on similar solutions.

The development was shown at the II forum "Patriots of the Urals", held on February 20 at the site in Miass. There, various models of drones were demonstrated to the public, including cargo ones, the latest electronic warfare systems, control systems and other novelties for civilian as well as military purposes.
