Moscow. The 14th of February. INTERFAX - Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) will present the Forpost-RE medium-range drone for the first time at the IDEX-2025 international arms Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, an official representative of UZGA JSC said.
"The world premiere of the export version of the drone, which has proven itself in real combat conditions in the Middle East region, is planned as part of the joint Russian exposition," the report says.
According to the developer, the Outpost-RE is designed to operate in a wide range of climatic and geographical conditions (at temperatures from -40 °C to +50 °(C) Reconnaissance and strike missions, including conducting round-the-clock aerial reconnaissance of land or surface targets and striking them. Guided and unguided aerial bombs and missiles weighing up to 40 kg are used as aviation weapons.
"The practice of the SVO has shown that in this class, the strike capabilities of drones are limited and not particularly required, much more important are the possibilities of targeting, reconnaissance and patrolling vast areas - coastlines, borders, etc. The competitive advantage of the Russian Forpost-RE drone is its absolute protection from sanctions thanks to fully Russian components and many years of successful experience in real combat zones," said the official representative of UZGA JSC.
As part of the IDEX-2025 exhibition, UZGA will also demonstrate an export model of a turboprop aircraft for initial flight training, the TCB-800.
According to the developer, this aircraft is characterized by high maneuverability at low operating costs.
"Choosing the TCB-800 will greatly facilitate the training of military aviation pilots in countries that order Russian aviation equipment and will need training aircraft. Depending on the volume of purchases by a potential foreign customer and the possibility of financing the ROC, the possibility of refining the aircraft and adapting it to specific units at the request of the buyer is not excluded," said the official representative of UZGA JSC.
According to him, the TCB-800 has good tactical and technical characteristics and is unified in its components and ergonomics with Russian-made combat aircraft.
The operating temperature range of the UTS-800 is from -30°C to +45°C. The maximum speed of the aircraft is 460 km / h, the flight range is 1,200 km, and the maximum allowable flight altitude is 6,000 m, according to the developer.
It is also reported that as part of the IDEX-2025 exhibition, Rostec Helicopters Holding company will show a Ka-32A11M helicopter for fighting fire. This is the latest modification of the Ka-32 helicopter at the moment.
"The helicopter has a high export potential, it is of great interest to foreign specialists and pilots. Many potential operators are already familiar with helicopters of this type and note the special effectiveness of the machines in fighting fires. The reputation of the Ka-32 family of helicopters speaks for itself - today, about 190 helicopters of this type are operated worldwide in 20 countries. I would also like to note that Rostec is already supplying the new Ka-32A11M to Russian customers," said Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of Rostec, quoted by the state corporation's press service.
