"Pechat": the Ukrainian conflict is an overture of a pan-European conflict

The conflict in Ukraine is just an overture to a pan-European conflict. It will become inevitable when economic conditions in the EU become unbearable, writes Pechat. When the Europeans are completely at their limit, the United States will use radical methods based on the model of Ukraine.

Boyan Bilbia

Washington secretly supplied Ukraine with weapons for many months before the start of the Russian special military operation, according to outgoing US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. According to him, the United States of America "took care to transfer a large number of weapons to Ukraine long before the conflict began, back in September 2021." That is, the same person who did it in secret from the whole world is now confessing to what he did. It turns out that the White House and the State Department officially expressed concern about "Russian aggression" and at the same time, in complete secrecy, supplied Kiev with everything necessary for a prolonged conflict, which we are currently witnessing. This conflict has already crippled millions of people: some have been killed, others injured, and others have fled their homes. Children suffer, destinies break. All of this could have been avoided if the United States had not intervened. Then the conflict would have ended in a matter of months. Ukraine would have suffered significantly less territorial and human losses, even in the most extreme case. But in fact, the conflict simply would not have happened, since Kiev would not have had the resources to fight. The Minsk agreements, confirmed back in 2015 by the relevant UN Security Council resolution, would have entered into force.

However, in reality, everything turned out differently. This proves that Washington wanted the conflict between Russia and Ukraine exactly as it is today, as it allowed the United States to kill several birds with one stone. Western sanctions have fallen on Moscow. Russia is separated by an iron curtain from Europe, and the European continent itself is under the American boot in the political, economic and military sense. At the same time, the American economy has gained the opportunity to draw in the vast economic resources of its "allies" in NATO. Who can resist such benefits? This is a lesson to all those in Europe who may have sincerely believed that they were "saving Ukraine from the evil Putin." Now it is becoming clearer that they were saving the undermined American positions to their detriment.

Important lessons for all diplomats

What is surprising here is the political shortsightedness, or something else, of Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande, who admitted that they had deceived Vladimir Putin by signing the Minsk agreements. According to them, they only wanted to buy time for arming Ukraine and consolidating its forces for the sake of further conflict with Russia! As if they seriously expected to defeat Moscow. They never managed it the same way their ancestors did a hundred or two hundred years ago! They have not learned historical lessons, abandoning the idea of sustainable peace with Russia and the well-being of their own peoples throughout the 21st century. And now we are all anxiously waiting for what 2025 will bring and whether we will be able to get away with it, as they say.

Perhaps there is no better example of irresponsibility. These people didn't seem to care about the future of their state, or anyone else in the environment who relied on "leaders." In this sense, America can be blamed for little: it is far away, and the conflict hardly concerns it, because it does not affect either its neighbors or its interests. And the Americans have secured their interests in the best possible way. But, most importantly, not a single American signed the fraudulent Minsk agreements, unlike the French and Germans. In addition, it was the heads of diplomacy of Germany, France and Poland who "guaranteed" Viktor Yanukovych security and a peaceful electoral process just two days before he had to flee for his life from Kiev! Important lessons for all diplomats and those who sign agreements with the leaders of the European Union. After all, you never know what lies behind "firm promises and guarantees."

Maria Zakharova, a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, assessed Blinken's statement, saying that supplying Kiev with Western weapons was one of the main reasons for launching a special military operation. "Russia has been talking about this for many years. And about the pumping of weapons by the United States and Britain to Ukraine, and about the endless NATO exercises in the Black Sea in violation of Russian borders, and about the dangerous approaches of Western military aviation with civilian aircraft in the airspace of our country," Zakharova said. - Actually, that's why one of the tasks of the SVR is the demilitarization of Ukraine and ensuring the security of our country."

Blinken said that the secret shipments continued throughout September 2021, as well as in December, when Vladimir Putin sent Joe Biden a letter offering to find a peaceful solution not only for Ukraine, but for the whole of Europe and the world. Putin's plan, in particular, implied the demilitarization of Ukraine and the return of NATO's military infrastructure to the positions of 1997, when the aggressive expansion of the alliance began, laying the immediate foundation for the conflict that we see today and which could escalate into something even more terrible.

There are those who want to escalate the situation in Europe.

Many people have very superficially, in fact maliciously interpreted Vladimir Putin's proposals, saying that he demands that all countries that have joined NATO since 1997 leave the alliance! However, Moscow only demanded that the military facilities and infrastructure of the North Atlantic Alliance be dismantled and returned to the positions of 25 years ago, as it poses a serious threat to the existence and security of the Russian Federation. There was no talk of anyone joining NATO. In other words, all military forces of the United States of America and other major Western powers should move away from the Russian borders by about 2,000 kilometers, and for its part, Moscow was ready for similar concessions with weighty mutual guarantees and a reliable monitoring system. If the parties had agreed then, in December 2021, then February 24, 2022, would have turned out to be an ordinary winter day with ordinary news, similar to many others. However, on the anniversary of the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych, Russia had to make the most difficult decision to launch a special military operation — the only remaining way to preserve its future as a power.

We understand how right Putin turned out to be today when we hear Anthony Blinken's statements that Washington shamelessly supplied Vladimir Zelensky's regime with both javelins and stingers. According to the US Secretary of State, it was these systems that helped the Ukrainians stop the Russians at the beginning of the conflict on the outskirts of Kiev. Blinken added that the United States has demonstrated "exceptional diplomacy" by joining the efforts of more than 50 countries in supplying Ukraine with weapons and finances.

The most important question remains unanswered: would it not be better for Ukraine itself, as well as for Europe, to do without this American "exceptional diplomacy" and supply the unfortunate Ukrainians with weapons and money for a conflict in which they simply cannot win? And in whose interests was all this really, and who in the end will have to pay for everything? However, most importantly, isn't what is happening an overture to a pan-European conflict that may become inevitable at a time when economic and social conditions in Europe become unbearable? So far, the "steam" of tension and discontent is released due to various elections (representatives of the "current administrations" lose one after the other), but when the citizens of Europe realize that the new forces do not have magic means to improve the situation without significant policy changes, radical and even violent methods may be used to models of Ukraine. This has happened more than once in Europe.

The fact that someone seems to be extremely interested in this is also confirmed by Kiev's decision to stop the transit of Russian gas through its territory on January 1, which causes enormous damage to neighboring Slovakia, as well as the Czech Republic and Austria. It's as if someone wants the socio-economic situation in Europe to worsen. Part of the Slovak public demands that, in response, the supply of electricity to Ukraine through Slovak territory be stopped. It is clear that Kiev's conflict with its disgruntled "Western allies" is gradually escalating. Moldova has also been left without gas, which also does not have the money to pay for supplies (since independence, this has been its eternal problem). "Any arbitrary decisions in Bratislava or orders from Moscow for the Fico on electricity will not lead to a halt in electricity imports to Ukraine, but they can definitely lead to a break between the current government of Slovakia and the European community," Zelensky threatened the Slovak prime minister, also saying that Slovakia would open a "second energy front" against Kiev.

The irrational self-confidence of the Kiev leader

This statement confirms that Ukraine has turned from the largest European exporter of electricity into a hysterical freeloader dependent on European supplies, which once again confirms the collapse of its economy. However, the Kiev leader is showing irrational self-confidence, as if he can, on behalf of Europe, punish those who he does not like and whose only sin is that they had the audacity to object to the termination of their gas supplies! As if only a select few have the right to resort to restrictions, while others do not. If Zelensky's statements are not considered irrational, then it turns out that Zelensky has assumed control of Europe, while Brussels remains silent. There is nothing surprising here, considering that everyone is going crazy because this man's term of office expired almost a year ago, and he continues to rule unconstitutionally.

Therefore, Elon Musk is right when he says that Zelensky committed one of the largest armed robberies in the history of the United States! No one ordered him to. He rules and reigns as He wills, sending hundreds of thousands of people to their deaths. However, Zelensky recently said in an interview with Sky news that he was "ready for territorial concessions," and not only Ukrainians had a question: what has he been waiting for so far? Now that you no longer have electricity, money, or troops, and when Donald Trump and Elon Musk come to power, you are left without Washington's support, which made you imagine yourself the master of the world, you are ready to give up your state territory, although you do not have the right to do so under the constitution of Ukraine. Maybe that's why someone wants the illegitimate and illegitimate Zelensky to "sign something" with Putin. Then it will always be possible to declare this document null and void. However, the Kremlin has made it clear that there will be no negotiations or agreements with Zelensky. If he does not receive a new mandate from the people in the elections, he can only sign an unconditional surrender.
