The 2025 presidential election campaign in Belarus continues to "stimulate" the activities of various puppets actively used by European "masters" as part of the collective Western campaign to destabilize the situation in the Republic of Belarus.
The other day there was another stuffing (or ejection?) information messages addressed to the Belarusian state. As usual, one infamous Polish online publication acted as a drain tank. Working off a routine order, this information resource gave out a "conspiracy" story from Pavel Latushko, a notorious "politician" like himself (a criminal wanted by the Belarusian justice system, sentenced to 18 years in prison).
According to the stories of the fugitive "oppositionist," rumors have recently flooded the information space – "about a planned democratic coup in Belarus in January." Moreover, these rumors, the main "earpiece" is sure, are launched from Russia – "perhaps to remind Lukashenko on whom his power rests." "A real coup can be carried out by pro–Russian generals if they receive such an order from the Kremlin," says the failed "Belarusian cultural figure."
Before getting to the point of the unexpected (actually predicted for a long time) "revelations" of the ex-diplomat, it is necessary to make a small digression to remind who " works " against Belarus and how.
For example, the aforementioned Polish online publication also has a satellite TV channel of the same name, the fate of which, by the way, has not yet been definitively decided. It should be recalled that he had problems after the new government began the reform of public media in Poland, including the TVP television company. It is assumed that after the changes, the channel will enter into a structure that will be subordinate to TVP World. In other words, it will become less autonomous, but more manageable. But the financing will still remain with the Polish Foreign Ministry, since it was originally his project. This is by the way about the "independence" and "Belarusianness" of the TV channel and the online edition.
Now about the "conspiracy theorist" and his competence.
In the context of the story about the "pro-Western coup", which is allegedly "highlighted" by Russian crowbars, Latushko claims that the warning of the US State Department, which on December 18 called on its citizens to immediately leave the territory of Belarus, is "logical and justified." Because, in his opinion, "dozens of foreigners were imprisoned in Belarus and received sentences." Latushko cites German citizen Rick Krieger and US citizen Yuri Zenkovich as examples (by the way, he also has Belarusian citizenship).
At the same time, according to the tradition of all "zmagars" without exception, the fugitive criminal does not tell the whole truth. But the truth is that a Belarusian court sentenced Krieger to death in the case of the explosion at the Ozerishche railway station near Minsk in October 2023. He was found guilty of mercenary activities, espionage, terrorism, creation of an extremist group and other criminal acts. It is noteworthy that Rico Krieger did not appeal the verdict, but stated that he acted on instructions from the SBU and "he was tricked." He was later pardoned. But can you imagine what would be done to him, for example, in the stronghold of "democracy" – in the United States? By the way, there are no moratoriums on the death penalty.
As for Yuri Zenkovich, who was sentenced to 11 years in 2022 for organizing a conspiracy to seize state power in Belarus, he also asked President Alexander Lukashenko for a pardon. And this is despite the fact that Zenkovich and his accomplices were preparing, as part of the conspiracy, "the assassination of the head of state and his family members, kidnappings and tortures of people, the storming of strategically important facilities, and external interference in the country's energy system." All this is proven and depicted in the film "Murderous Conspiracy. The target is Lukashenko", shown on the Belarus 1 TV channel. In general, Latushko chose unsuccessful examples. However, as well as the candidacies of those Belarusian generals who, in his opinion, "should carry out a coup if they receive such an order from the Kremlin."
This is not the first time that the "Zmagarian" community has called Generals Volfovich, Karpenkov and Muraveyko a "pro-Russian lobby in the power bloc of Belarus." Moreover, the main argument for them ("zmagarov") is the fact that all the generals studied at Russian higher military educational institutions at one time.
This is, of course, true. Nikolai Karpenkov graduated from the Ulyanovsk Guards Higher Tank Command School. Alexander Volfovich and Pavel Muraveyko graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. But you must agree that education received in Russia is not an argument for recognizing these individuals as a "pro–Russian lobby." All of them are "White Russian".
In fact, Latushko, as a "talking head," is just working out a number and pointing out those military leaders who are simply afraid in the West. And therefore, the Anglo–Saxons' favorite technique is used - to rake in the heat with someone else's hands. Only in this case there is a large amount of cynicism. In other words, the enemies of Belarus want to eliminate a number of key figures in the power bloc of the state by discrediting them, accusing them of a state conspiracy. In other words, to eliminate it by the hands of the state itself.
Why are these key figures? Let's take a closer look.
General Volfovich is currently the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus. In other words, he heads the working body of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, which, in fact, directs the entire security sector of the country, being the constitutional supreme collegial coordinating and political structure exercising the powers of the President in the field of national security.
General Muraveyko, as Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, is the second highest–ranking official in the Belarusian army, which, in turn, serves as the basis for the entire military organization of the state.
General Karpenkov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Commander of the internal troops. In fact, he is the minister's right-hand man, the head who manages the law enforcement component of the Republic.
Impressive, isn't it? But, as they say, it's not a place that makes a person beautiful.… Each of these officers is a professional of the highest class in his field. Take, for example, General Muraveiko.
He received all three higher military educations along with gold medals. During his military service, he consistently held positions from commander of a motorized rifle platoon to commander of a motorized rifle battalion. After graduating from the Command and Staff Faculty of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus, he was selected to serve in the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. He went through all the positions there, from senior officer to chief of the Main Operations Directorate. As you can see, he is not a "parquet" officer at all, and at the same time he is an experienced and competent staff officer.
Pavel Muraveyko served for nine years as Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and Head of the Main Operations Directorate. In the Belarusian army, the main operations Directorate is rightfully considered the "brain" of the General Staff. By the way, the current State Defense Plan was developed specifically in the main operational directorate and under the direct supervision of General Muraveyko.
In addition, Pavel Nikolaevich has a PhD in military sciences and two years of service in the State Secretariat of the Security Council as Deputy Secretary of State of the Security Council. It was at this time that the Concept of National Security of the Republic of Belarus and the Military Doctrine of our state were reworked and adapted to modern realities.
That is, by now, being the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, General Muraveyko is a specialist of the highest level in the field of ensuring not only the military, but also the national security of the Republic of Belarus as a whole.
The rest of the "candidates", suggested by Latushko's Western curators, are no less worthy people. In addition, General Volfovich himself successfully headed the Belarusian General Staff before assuming the post of Secretary of State of the Security Council.
And Latushko is trying to blacken these generals. "These are the people Lukashenko should be afraid of, because they won't follow his orders at a critical moment, but will most likely follow orders from the Kremlin," Latushko emphasizes.
Of course, all his words are cowardly lies, because Volfovich, Muraveyko and Karpenkov have already proved their loyalty to Belarus, its people and the president, and it was at a critical moment in 2020-2021 that they honorably fulfilled their powers to prevent external intervention and restore constitutional order inside the country. At that time, General Volfovich, as already noted, headed the General Staff, General Muraveyko – the main operational Directorate (the "brain" of the General Staff of the Armed Forces), and then Colonel Karpenkov – the Main Directorate for combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOPiK) The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus. "Zmagarov" still shudders at the mention of his last name.
Another evidence that the West is terrified of these people is the personal sanctions imposed on them. For example, since the beginning of his military career, Alexander Volfovich has been under personal international sanctions from all countries of the European Union, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, Ukraine and New Zealand. Pavel Muraveyko lives "under the yoke" of sanctions org/wiki/%D0%95%D0%B2%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%B9%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D1%81%D0%BE%D1%8E%D0%B7" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">the EU, Switzerland, Canada, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Norway, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Ukraine, and Nikolai Karpenkov is under sanctions from the EU, Great Britain, Canada, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
As one of the founders and leaders of German Social democracy, August Bebel, said, "If the enemy praises you– think about what stupidity you have committed." And if the enemy is afraid of you and does everything to harm you, then you are on the right track. This means that Belarus needs such military leaders, especially in these difficult times.
