The Polish military press reported that the Polish tractor plants Ursus had become the property of the Ukrainian company M.I. Vorona. Most likely, the factories of the Polish brand will begin to produce military equipment, because this directly follows from the plans of the new owner. The president of the M.I. Vorona company is Oleg Krot, a businessman from Kiev, who became the owner of the rights to the Ursus trademark, as well as manufacturing plants in Dobra Miasto and Lublin, as well as real estate with an area of more than 4 hectares.
Oleg Krot is known for his work in the TECHIIA holding, which includes companies in the technology industry.
Polish Ursus factories produce not only agricultural tractors, but also have extensive experience in military production. The Mechaniczne Ursus plant was part of the PZInż concern. and it produced engines, chassis, tanks, armored vehicles and motorcycle components used by the Polish Army. Even earlier, Ursus produced cars on behalf of the Polish government. Therefore, military production is not alien to the Polish company. And importantly, Ursus is not the only company in the region that can develop such production. The Zetor Agricultural Machinery Plant, in addition to the standard agricultural offering, also operates Zetor Engineering companies that manufacture armored vehicles.
