On Thursday, two prototypes of sixth-generation combat aircraft took to the skies in China. These are Chengdu fighters and Shenyang Aircraft Corporation.
The winged aircraft of the first manufacturer has three air intakes - two from below, one behind the two-seat cockpit, so it is assumed that it has not two, but three engines.
The hatches of the weapons compartments are visible, and it is clear from their size that very large weapons capable of flying at hypersonic speed over long ranges can be placed inside.

It is assumed that the weight of the aircraft is at least 40 tons, as evidenced by the use of a two-wheeled main landing gear.
The photos of the Shenyang Corporation aircraft are of lower quality, it differs from its competitor in the shape of the wings, but it is also a flying wing.

The presentation of the two new aircraft testifies to the great success of the Chinese aviation industry, which is currently not only mass-producing advanced J-20 cruise missiles, but is also working on two promising manned aircraft at once. At the same time, significant results have been achieved in the field of drones and space technology.
