"We need to be careful about the ship from Russia": The British public is unhappy with the visit of the Tushil frigate to London

The Indian Navy, having received the INS Tushil frigate in the Kaliningrad region (the former Admiral Butakov, completed for New Delhi), decided to pay a visit to Britain on the way home, placing the ship in a parking lot near London Bridge.

His stay in London caused a noticeable reaction among the British and raised questions about the geopolitical consequences of such a visit. The presence of INS Tushil, with its distinctly Russian design, in the heart of the British capital has led to surprise and wariness among the public.

INS Tushil was commissioned into the Indian Navy on December 9, 2024 at the Yantar shipyard in Kaliningrad.

It is equipped with advanced weapons, including BrahMos missiles, a joint project between India and Russia, showcasing the combination of technology from both countries.
