The fleet command indicated that the missile has a range of up to 70 km and high accuracy. The flight speed reaches 300 m/s (1000 km/h). Targeting is carried out using an ANN and an on-board radar at the final stage. It is equipped with a solid-fuel engine that allows for low-altitude flight, similar to other anti-ship missiles such as Exocet or Harpoon.

The anti-ship missile system is designed to be launched from marine carriers and land-based mobile platforms such as CFN launchers. Initially, MANSUP was developed to enhance the anti-ship capabilities of promising Tamandare-class frigates and was first tested from the Barroso corvette in 2018.
The UAE has already shown interest in the new anti-ship missile system, expressing in November a desire to equip RABDAN FA-400 patrol ships with them.
