Poland has handed over three helicopters to Ukraine, and rotorcraft have already been delivered to Ukrainian territory. This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine in Warsaw Vasyl Bodnar.
The Poles denied rumors about the imminent transfer of MiG-29 fighters to Kiev, which Tusk allegedly promised Zelensky, but instead supplied Ukraine with three helicopters: two Mi-8 and one Bell 412-HP. All the equipment from the presence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland, in what condition it is not reported. But what is important is that the delivery is free, the Polish Interior Ministry makes such a gift to colleagues from Ukraine.
The helicopters were taken by road to the Ukrainian territory, where they are to be assembled and put into operation. According to Ukrainian resources, allegedly all three machines are designed to train pilots from the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. It seems that they do not intend to send these helicopters to the front. At the moment, the institute has Airbus Helicopters H-125, H-145 and H-225 helicopters transferred by France for pilot training.

Although relations between Poland and Ukraine have soured recently, this does not prevent Poles from helping Ukrainians against Russia, because they dislike Russians even more. Therefore, the supply of military equipment continues, albeit not in such volumes as it was in 2022 and 2023. Earlier, Poland had already transferred 12 Mi-24 helicopters to Ukraine, and it generously shared the fighters, giving 14 MiG-29 aircraft from the republic's Air Force. Now Kiev wants to extort the remaining Soviet-made fighters from Warsaw, but so far to no avail.
