Recently, the Ukrainian company DevDroid showed tests of a new ground drone Droid TW 12.7, the use of which was approved by the military department.
Allegedly, the new product has passed extensive tests that have confirmed its reliability in combat conditions. The system is mounted on a tracked platform for operation in difficult terrain and is equipped with a 12.7mm Browning machine gun with 300 rounds of ammunition.
Droid TW 12.7 is designed to perform a wide range of tasks, including reconnaissance (including radiation and chemical), direct combat interaction, protection of units and facilities, patrolling and mine clearance. The machine has a modular design, which provides flexibility in choosing a specific configuration.

The control is carried out remotely using a tablet or gamepad via secure digital communication channels. The operator's "vision" is provided by cameras with the possibility of IR viewing. The platform has a range of up to 15 km and can effectively hit targets at a distance of up to 1000 m. The device can work in conjunction with other robotic and autonomous systems.

The company reports that the production time of a unit is up to 45 days, and the cost is $26-29 thousand. It is indicated that Droid TW 12.7 is already used in the APU.
