The Lotus, weighing 18 tons, was created on the basis of the BMD-4M and is equipped with a 120 mm cannon capable of both direct fire and working from closed positions. The maximum firing range is 13 km, and the rate of fire is from 6 to 8 rounds per minute. The machine is equipped with a 360° rotating turret, a 40-round automatic loader and is compatible with various types of ammunition, including rifled shells and 120 mm mines.
