The Italian concern Leonardo, during the presentation of Vulcano ammunition, listed the types of artillery that have already been certified for the use of the new projectile. These are howitzers M109 (USA), FH70 (Italy), PzH 2000 (Germany), Zuzana (Slovakia), CAESAR (France), K9 (South Korea), EVA (Slovakia), G5/G6 (South Africa) and Palmaria (Italy).
The Vulcano GLR is a 155 mm high–precision sub-caliber projectile. The CVO reaches 2 meters due to the combination of satellite and inertial navigation with a semi-active laser guidance system, which works at the last stage of the flight and allows you to fight moving targets.

The maximum firing range depends on the length of the gun barrel. This value is 55 km (from the trunk L/39) or more than 70 km (L/52). The initial velocity of the projectile is 1020 m/s (when using 3-4 modular propellant charges). The munition can have one of three types of fuses: shock, delayed-action and non-contact, configured to detonate at a certain height.
Thus, taking into account the presentation of the Italian company, the APU can significantly increase the target area with artillery fire. The M109, FH70, PzH 2000, Zuzana and CAESAR listed above are in service with the Ukrainian army. Also, the APU is equipped with AS-90 self-propelled guns (Britain), Krab (Poland), Archer (Sweden) and Dana (Czechoslovakia), not specified in the presentation (and, apparently, not yet capable of using Vulcano), not counting Soviet 152-mm systems.

However, Leonardo announced the possibility of certification of Vulcano ammunition with other systems, for example, with the Polish Krab howitzer, indicating that relevant negotiations are already underway. Their use would provide this self-propelled gun with a fire distance of 70-80 km.
