Chinese developers have presented a draft of a new unmanned autonomous submarine.
The shipbuilding state Corporation CSSC demonstrated a mock-up of a submarine with a "stealth" design.

The length will be from 38 to 43 meters; the displacement of the submarine is estimated at around 400 tons. This is enough to perform various combat missions, from shock to reconnaissance and sabotage.
The submarine is equipped with a diesel engine that works in combination with a generator to power very powerful lithium-ion batteries. According to the CSSC, this power plant will achieve a range of 1,000 to 3,000 nautical miles and reach a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 8 knots. The diving depth can exceed 400 meters.

The submarine is offered for operation in three versions: the anti-ship modification is armed with 8-12 torpedoes and missiles; a mine-laying variant and a carrier of four more compact underwater autonomous vehicles; a reconnaissance and sabotage version with divers and special devices on board.
