In the near future, the Ukrainian Armed Forces should receive the first batch of Novator-2 armored vehicles in a new version – the Ukrainian Armor company has developed a sanitary version.

Before the launch of mass production, the prototype of the BA in this modification underwent two months of testing in the combat area, which made it possible to make the necessary changes.

Up to 6 lightly wounded people can be transported inside the armored cabin of the Innovator-2 in a sitting position or 4 lying down. The armor provides soldiers with level 2 ballistic protection in accordance with STANAG 4569 (withstands an armor-piercing bullet from a 7.62 mm x 39 cartridge). The vehicle is also equipped with a protection system against weapons of mass destruction.

The Novator-2 has an acceptable total weight of about 10 tons and is 10 cm longer than the basic version of the Novator armored car. It is equipped with a 6.7-liter Ford V8 Super diesel engine with a capacity of 300 hp. The chassis is a Ford F-550.
The new modification, which also has improved suspension and steering, was first introduced in Poland in 2023 and has been tested since then. Apparently, she is now ready to join the army.
