Belgium plans to transfer several dozen Bv-206 all-terrain vehicles to the Armed Forces by the end of the year, specially designed for movement in difficult terrain.

As indicated, they are now ready to be sent to Ukraine, where they will mainly be used to evacuate wounded soldiers from the front line [although these are not armored vehicles]. The Armed Forces of Ukraine already possess such machines [in October 2023, Germany supplied 73 copies] and asked their "allies" to provide more all-terrain vehicles of this model. Payment for the equipment is being made by the Belgian government with funds from the aid package promised in March.

Bv-206 has a length of 6.36 m, a width of 2.3 m and a height of 2.43 m. In the basic configuration, it can carry up to 10 people. or a cargo weighing 1.37 tons with a mass of 7.3 tons. The all-terrain vehicle is equipped with a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of 177 hp and can reach a maximum speed of 52 km /h on roads and 4 km /h in water. The range is 330 km.
In total, more than 11 thousand units of the Bv-206 were produced; it is currently used in more than 37 countries around the world to perform various military and civilian tasks.
