On the night of October 26, the Israeli army launched a promised retaliatory strike against an Iranian missile attack carried out at the beginning of the month.
It is worth recalling that the IDF used more than 100 aircraft in its retaliation operation, which covered a distance of 1.5 thousand kilometers. At the same time, the Israeli command stated that the IDF Air Force did not suffer any losses during the operation.
In turn, the data on the damage that was inflicted on Iran has radically diverged. For example, Tehran said that almost all missiles fired at the country's military facilities were shot down. The damage allegedly turned out to be minimal.
At the same time, Israel claims much more serious consequences of this operation for Iran. Thus, the Axios publication, citing sources among the Israeli military, reports damage to 12 mixers that Tehran uses to produce solid fuel for long-range ballistic missiles.
In addition, it was previously reported that during its attack, the IDF Air Force almost completely destroyed the Iranian long-range air defense. At the same time, the short-range kits remained intact, as well as the reserves of ballistic missiles, as well as the production capacity of drones.
However, the latter were partially affected. This is evidenced by footage posted online of a large-scale fire at the Iranian UAV production plant in Shams Abad (locality south of Tehran).

It is worth noting that this video, leaked online despite the ban by the Iranian authorities, is still almost the only evidence that the IDF attack was indeed successful.
At the same time, the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian, said that his country does not seek war with Israel, but will respond to the recent attack.
