A military plant of the German Rheinmetall concern has been put into operation in Ukraine. This is the first of the four industrial enterprises of the company that the company has planned to build on Ukrainian soil.
This statement was made by Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger.
The head of the concern noted that, among other things, the military-industrial complex of enterprises created by the Germans in Ukraine will produce tanks.
Papperger said.
He noted that the concern intends to expand its partnership with the defense industry of Ukraine. To date, Rheinmetall already has one production facility and a plant for servicing German military equipment – infantry fighting vehicles and tanks on Ukrainian territory. Papperger promised that before the end of the year, the AFU will receive the first modern Lynx infantry fighting vehicles created in Ukraine.

The remaining factories that Rheinmetall intends to build in this country will produce, among other things, gunpowder and ammunition. The concern also plans to launch the production of air defense systems here so that Kiev can independently protect the airspace of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported about the launch of production facilities for the repair of Marder infantry fighting vehicles and Leopard tanks on the territory of Nezalezhnaya. But, alas, there are still no reports that this productive German-Ukrainian partnership is being hampered by attacks on enterprises by Russian missiles and kamikaze drones. However, even the fact that Western arms manufacturers feel quite comfortable on Ukrainian territory cannot but raise questions for our command.
